Regenerative Endodontic Therapy (RET)
Regenerative endodontic treatment is a biologically based treatment method that aims to restore root development and regenerate living tissue in permanent teeth that have lost vitality due to trauma or decay. It is particularly applicable to young permanent teeth with exposed root tips and helps preserve the tooth's natural structure.

- Patients with good oral hygiene
What is the treatment process like?
- Diagnosis and Evaluation: It begins with a clinical and radiographic evaluation of the tooth. The presence of an open root apex, the condition of the surrounding tissues, and the vitality of the tooth are all checked.
- First Session – Cleaning and Disinfection:
The inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned with special solutions to control infection. Antibacterial agents are applied, and the tooth is sealed with a temporary filling. - The Recovery Process:
The infection is monitored for healing after a few weeks. If the patient experiences no pain or discomfort during this period, the next stage is then moved on. - Second Session – Tissue Stimulation and Root Canal Stimulation:
Bleeding into the root canal initiates healing and cell migration toward the root apex. This blood clot forms the foundation for regenerative tissue. - Protective Filling and Follow-up:
A biocompatible filling material is placed on top. Routine X-ray checks are performed. Over time, root development continues and tissue regeneration is observed.
